I recently had my daughter on March 5th at this hospital and it was the best decision I ever made! From the cleaning staff to the doctors, everyone gave me EXCELLENT care! They were super caring, respected my decisions and took great care of my allergies! Especially the anesthesiologist Eva Chen who was with me the whole time, carefully observing me! This is not just professionalism, it is love for what they do! I also want to thank Dr. Douglas who performed my C-section and the entire nursing team who were present throughout the entire process! Congratulations O'Connor for the super prepared team!

I can’t say enough good things about the team at O’Connor Hospital ER. We brought our daughter in after she had a sudden allergic reaction to ibuprofen, and from the moment we walked through the doors, we were treated with urgency and compassion. She was admitted within 10 minutes of arriving, which was such a relief in such a scary situation. The nurses and doctors immediately jumped into action—calm, professional, and reassuring every step of the way. They explained what was happening, what they were doing, and made sure we felt informed and cared for throughout the process. Within a short time, our daughter was stabilized and comfortable, and we felt immense gratitude for how smoothly everything was handled. The ER staff truly went above and beyond, and we are so thankful for their quick response, kindness, and expertise. O’Connor Hospital will always be our first choice in an emergency.

Many thanks to DR. Niven for her care of my sister Judy Hodges who is both mentally and physically challenged and is on a fairly complicated drug regimen. Dr. Niven went further than normal, I believe, in researching the drugs that Judy is taking. Dr. Niven found that missing one of these drugs can throw the whole regimen out of balance and this was, indeed, the case as Judy had been taken off one of her normal daily drugs with the ensuing symptoms of low blood pressure and general weakness. Dr. Niven also called me twice to give me very thorough updates on Judy's condition for which I was very grateful. Many thanks to Dr. Niven and the staff at O'Connor Hospital. I got there by emergency on a Sunday January the 31st, without planning I had to stayed till Feb Friday the 6th. Any way my kids born at this place and I already love the attention back then. But this time was the best time anyone can experience in a hospital. I should remember all the people that stop by to check on me but it's hard so I'll kindly say it here, if we met during my visit I want to thank you all, 🙏🙏🙏with all my heart for everything you do as care providers, Dr Patel is the one who got my gallbladder out, I can't remember the other two nice gentlemen who decided that I have to stay, and all the nurses like Nunny, Gilda Cheryl, Sukjit, there was a lady that took me for a long walk, she was pushing me to keep going and did everything so I can recover faster thank you very much. Every single one very kind, very patience and attentive even with mean and rude patients. Even the kitchen stuff noticed I didn't order my dinner, so they called on my last day to make sure I get my meal on time.Now I love even more this hospital.

I love you guys thank you for saving me. The ER team was so quick and my arms and hands were getting numb and they acted so fast and assured me I will be okay. I also want to thank the ICU team - nurse Cindy, Judith, Lianne, Shendy, Jen, Danh, and omg I forgot the others in night shift who bathed me and was also super cool and assertive and everyone was caring and attentive. Dr. Valentine in ICU thank you for treating me as a human being not just a disease/sickness. The therapists and staff too! I used the ER twice already and this last hospital stay was so scary but everyone treated me very well and I recovered fast and well because of that. Thank you!!!

I went for emergency thing and I got the surgery done in the past but these people are really nice. Nice environment. Doctors are very good. Staff was very on time. Everything went good. Nurse was sweet good place good vibe.

my ophthalmologist comes from Val Med on Bascom but eye surgery was scheduled @ O'C. from check in thru recovery I was surround by some of the greatest people I've ever met. (id hang w these people on the outside on my own free time) seriously! I think divine intervention made it all happen there. outstanding

I've been to a few hospitals in my 65 years. Normally I go to SCVMC but they were full when I had my first heart attack 3 weeks ago, and I was diverted to O'Connor Hospital. Awesome!!!!!!! By far, the BEST Hospital experience I've ever had. Considering it was a heart attack, none the less. Wow, they immediately put me at ease. Their "extreme polite" personalities everyone, explaining everything so I can understand what was going on. Attentiveness was over the top. Once I got home I called my insurance company and switched all forwarding tests to O'Connor Hospital. These folks are were next level in easing my anxiety during a very scary event in my life. Every follow-up test has been equally amazing experience. Especially during a time when hospitals are overwhelmed all across the state. The O'Connor system is really chill and calm. Like any other Hospital in the state, it's crowded, and their really busy. But you won't feel it like you feel it at VMC. It's a very comfortable Hospital, their professionalism is high caliber. Highly Recommend.
